Gail has been practicing acupuncture since 2004. She is Nationally Certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture and licensed by the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture. Gail has been a guest teaching assistant at Ongiara College of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and a guest on the radio talk show Your Prescription for Health.
She practices acupuncture by diagnosing and formulating a treatment strategy which is in alignment with classical, Chinese medicine theory, focusing on supporting the health and well-being of the patient. This in turn serves to restore natural balance encouraging the body’s own healing response.
Acupuncture is an ancient healing art, over 3,000 years old. Having withstood the test of time, it has been shown to be helpful in treating both acute and chronic conditions. It can be especially helpful for those experiencing physical pain, anxiety, depression, digestive issues, IBS, headaches, chronic stress, fertility issues, sleep disturbances, and other many other concerns.
